Pumpkin Spice Latte= a little bit of heaven

Ok so my ALL time favorite drink {and something my Mom, sister and I look forward to every fall} is a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. Well, today I received an email from Starbucks stating:

I am super excited!!  Unfortunately, San Antonio is currently ranked #21.... BUT look what city is in #1!!

So I sent Christian a text letting him know the plan... that I am flying to Chicago the week Pumpkin Spice Latte's are available in his city {and to see him of course!}


Laid back Christian's response: "OK, theres a Starbucks 2 blocks from me" haha! :)

I am rereading one of my favorite all time books, How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie,  and came across a great quote....

I highly recommend reading it if you haven't already. It's also my Daddy's favorite book :)

Only 6 more days!

Christian is flying back to San Antonio for 2 very short days.

Our itinerary includes:
*Seeing a chic flick :)-- either The Help {which has gotten GREAT reviews} or One Day {I am currently obssessed with the song in the trailer}
*Happy Hour at our favorite restaurant downtown {Luke}
*A photography class
*multiple visits to Christians favorite place ever-- Target :) {jk--- he HATES Target}

You don't see many cardinals in Texas. They remind me of my summers spent in Jersey growing up. As kids, we would watch the birds playing in my Grandparents garden. 

When I said in an earlier post that Christian and I were obsessed with the new camera, I forgot to add that my brother, Hunter, and his girlfriend, Paige, were too!

New camera!

Wellll.... after weeks of researching and debating, Christian and I finally purchased a new camera! Shout out to my sister and brother-in-law for all their help!  We ended up purchasing a Canon 60d and we are OBSESSED :). It takes amazing photos and I am sooo looking forward to learning more about photography and how to take great photos. Christian is just happy that I am no longer bugging him about getting a camera.

Colorado

Me, Hunter, and my Mom flew out to Colorado for a 2 part trip.... to visit the US Air Force Academy {Hunter's college prospect} for a day and then spend the remaining days visiting my brother Colin in Boulder. We had a great time!
